12/14/2008 -- Starrett Holiday Invitational.
This competition is especially organized for children and teenagers starting at the age of 5 until 16 years old. If you'd like to participate, please complete and send the Starrett Holiday Invitational application. Competition will be held in Brooklyn - make sure you inform the coaches if you'd like to participate. Register now to avoid a late payment fee.
11/30/2008 -- 2008 Nakabayashi Judo Championships.
This is one of the most attended regional championships in NY Tri State area. The application is available for download. Send the application before the date line to avoid additional fees.
11/12 - 17/2008 -- 5th Junior World Kurash Championship.
Spartak's athletes are now taking on a different type of a challenge. Our students will travel to Istanbul, Turkey to take part in this prestigious Kurash championship.
10/25 - 26/2008 -- 2008 Junior World Championship.
This World Championship is a vital event for Spartak Sports Club and one its pupils, Steve Fayzakov.
He will be traveling to Bangkok, Thailand with the Head Coach Arakadiy Aronov to take part in this shiai.
09/28/2008 -- 2008 US Open.

09/20 - 21/2008 -- 42nd Annual Invitational East Coast Judo Championship.

 01/29/2008 Promotions: Igor Bazilevich, Akram Iminov, Moiesey Rafailov, David Pinkhasov were promoted to the rank of Ikkyu (brown belt) January 29, 2008.
