Arkadiy Aronov (Judo Head Coach, Director)
Born in Uzbekistan 1963, Mr. Aronov is IJF Certified International Master of
Sports in Judo and Sambo, 7th Degree Black Belt -- Shichidan. Mr. Aronov is USA Judo Certified International level Judo Coach.
Six times Uzbekistan Judo Champion, two times USSR Cup Bronze
Medalist, Gold Medalist of Maccabe Championship and Bronze winner of Maccabe
World Judo Cup -- Mr. Aronov is currently one of the highly respected and
skilled professional educators here in New York and International Judo arena.
Mr. Aronov's coaching experience is vast and impressive.
He has the knowledge and understanding to teach Judo and Sambo to
anyone willing to learn despite of age, fitness or experience in martial arts.
He has trained many athletes who have become olympians and winners of prestigious
competitions such as World Championships.

Saribek Saro Balagezyan (USA Judo Certified National Coach and Referee)
Born in Armenia in 1974, Mr. Balagezyan is a US Judo and IJF Certified San Dan (third degree Black Belt in Judo.
Saro started SAMBO in 1982 in Armenia and has been continuing with the art of Judo in America
since 1994.
A winner of multiple international and national tournaments,
Mr. Balagezyan now holds a title of Master of Sports in Judo.
He has been with Spartak since 1997.

Vadim Zavlunov (USA Judo Certified National Coach and Referee)
Born in Uzbekistan in 1980, Mr. Zavlunov started Karate in 1985.
Vadim came to the US in 1992 and began wrestling in 1995.
He has been with Spartak Sports Club since 1996 as a Judo student.
After a major shoulder injury in 2003, Vadim stopped competing and
began coaching at the club.
Being a winner of many tournaments, and a Master of Sports in Judo, Vadim
is a great asset to our club helping Spartak's judokas grow.
